Alwin Lilienthal (also Bandow, known as Lilienthal) was a sail maker by trade. He was taken into "protective custody” for political reasons on June 29th, 1937 and died at the Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel concentration camp on July 10th under unclear circumstances. A Stumbling Stone in front of his last residence in Rostocker Strasse commemorates him.
