Julius Leiser, born Dec. 24, 1876 in Cologne, parents: Salomon Leiser and Rosa Leiser née Stich, married to Hedwig Leiser née Goldberg (born Nov. 27, 1879 in Strasbourg/West Prussia), had no children. We do not know his occupation; at a Jewish community "first taxed in Arnswalde" (presumably moved from there). He joind the Jewish community of Hamburg on Oct., 7, 1936. In 1936 to 1941 he was resident in Hamburg Hansastraße 47 I. Floor. (According to the census of May 1939, they were the only Jewish residents of this house).
Julius and Hedwig Leiser were deported to the Riga Ghetto, Jungfernhof subcamp on December 6, 1941.
