Albert Meyer, born 3.9.1868 in Hamburg, deported to Theresienstadt on 19.7.1942, further deported to the extermination camp Treblinka on 21.9.1942

last residential address: Alstertwiete 17

Albert Meyer was a member of the Jewish Community of Hamburg and probably lived since the late 1930s in the Jewish old people's home Daniel-Wormser-Haus in Westerstraße, which was designated a "Judenhaus" at the beginning of the following decade.
Before that, he lived in his own apartment in Alstertwiete.
From the so-called Judenhaus, he was deported to Theresienstadt in July 1942 along with a total of 771 Hamburg Jews.
Just two months later, he was sent to the Treblinka extermination camp on the September 21 transport, from which he never returned.
