Adolf Mannheimer was a member of the Hamburg Jewish Community and married to a non-Jewish woman by the name of Marie, née Laue, whose former married name prior to divorce was Riediger. He was a commercial clerk by occupation, though unemployed since 1932. On 8 Nov. 1941, he was deported to the Belarusian Minsk Ghetto along with 968 Jews from Hamburg, and he has been missing ever since.

Since Oct. 2003, a Stolperstein on Lange Reihe, at the location his last residential building, commemorates him.
