Grindelhof 40
Paula Heipertz was born the daughter of Eduard Levy and Lara, née Bauer. She married the non-Jew, Hugo Heipertz, whose religion was recorded as Protestant. Paula Heipertz lived at Grindelhof 40e in the Hamburg district of Rotherbaum. On 11 July 1942, she was deported to the extermination camp Auschwitz-Birkenau and probably murdered immediately upon arrival. On 1 September 1942, a few dresses, linens, and shoes belonging to Paula Heipertz were auctioned off by a court bailiff for RM 125.50. Fees and the cost of insurance were deducted, leaving RM 117.65 to be transferred to the account of the Hamburg Higher Finance Treasury.
