Heinemann David

Heinemann David, born on 27 Apr. 1854 in Bernstorf, deported on 15 July 1942 to Theresienstadt, died there on 11 Sept. 1943
Dora David, née Rosenbaum, born on 12 Sept. 1867 in Hamburg, deported on 15 July 1942 to Theresienstadt, died there on 7 Dec. 1942

The parents of Heinemann David were Moses and Minna, née Salomon, and his wife was the daughter of Simon Rosenbaum and Johanna, née Zacharias. Heinemann David joined the Hamburg Jewish Community in 1894. The married couple had two daughters: Charlotte (born on 9 Sept. 1892) and Minna (born on 9 Jan. 1896). The family must have been prosperous because in the period from 1913 to 1941, the tax contributions for the Jewish Community usually ranged from 200 to 600 RM (reichsmark).
On 15 July 1942, the married couple, aged 88 and 75, was deported to Theresienstadt.

They died there only a few months later: Heinemann David on 11 Sept. 1942, his wife on 7 Dec. 1942.
