Only the file of the police authority from the collection entitled "unnatural deaths” as well as a list calculating invoices for costs of "protective custody” of the Fuhlsbüttel police prison (Fuhlsbüttel concentration camp – "KoLa-Fu”) contain clues to Waldemar Eggers’ fate. Waldemar Arthur Alban Eggers was born on 19 Feb. 1904 in Hamburg. Before his arrest in Feb. 1942, he worked as an accountant for the Brix Hansen Company on Wendenstrasse.

On 21 Feb. 1942, he was committed by the K 24 Office of the Criminal Investigation Department to the Fuhlsbüttel police prison on charges of homosexual acts (offenses in accordance with Sec. 175 [of the Reich Criminal Code]). Three days later, on 24 Feb. 1942, he committed suicide by strangulation in his cell.
