Clara Philip, née Heyn, born 3/11/1877 in Hamburg, deported to Riga-Jungfernhof on 12/6/1941, date of death unknown
Gerda Alice Philip, born 7/2/1905 in Hamburg, deported to Riga-Jungfernhof on 12/6/1941, deported on to Stutthof concentration camp on 10/1/1944, date of death unknown

Schulterblatt 84 (Schulterblatt 84a)

Clara Philip and her daughter Gerda lived in the rear building at Schulterblatt 84a. According to the Jewish Community, Gerda was a clerk; the deportation list calls her a "packer.” Mother and daughter were taken to Riga-Jungfernhof on December 6th, 1941. Clara Philip died there or was killed in a mass shooting; Gerda was probably admitted to the Riga ghetto or other camps. When the Red Army was approaching, she and other inmates were taken to the Stutthof concentration camp near Danzig, where her trace is lost.
