Leonid Dubik (born 27.2.1917 in Buzneva, Kammensk Podolsk district) was the son of Ivan and Anastasia Dubik and married to Leonida Dubik. Deported from his native Ukraine to Hamburg-Langenhorn, he, presumably like his wife, had to perform forced labor for the Hanseatische Kettenwerk GmbH (HAK) since November 2, 1942, and was housed there in the camp of the German Labor Front (DAF). The whereabouts of his relatives are unknown.

On May 14, 1943, Leonid Dubik was admitted to the Langenhorn Hospital with a diagnosis of TB. Six and a half months later, on November 29, 1943, he died in the night at 0:30 a.m. in the "Hilfskrankenhaus Langenhorn," an auxiliary Hospital, i.e., in one of the six so-called foreigners' barracks. In the hospital's obituary, "pulmonary tuberculosis" is given as the cause of death and Dr. Blumenthal as the signing physician.

Leonid Dubik was 26 years old.

Eight days later, his funeral was held by the Schröder Funeral Society at 11:00 a.m. on December 7, 1943, at Ohlsdorf Cemetery. He was buried in a collective grave with nine unknown dead, grave location Bp 73, row 4, No. 17. A gravestone with his name carved on it and his date of birth and death still commemorates him there today.
