Herbert Cohn, born 23 Jan. 1904 in Hamburg, deported 8 Nov. 1941 to Minsk

Kaethe and Herbert Cohn had only been married for a year when they were deported. Their dates of death are not known. They rented rooms from Amalie Salomon on Isestraße. Kaethe Cohn was a music teacher, her husband worked as a sales clerk. After 1938 he was intermittently unemployed or had only a minimal income. Their records from the Chief Tax Authority indicate that they attempted to emigrate to Shanghai in 1939.

After their deportation to Minsk all traces of them are lost.

Kaethe Cohn’s mother, Henriette Lisser, was deported to Theresienstadt on 15 July 1942. She died there, aged 73, on 3 November 1942.
