Jenny Eckstein, born on 2.10.1876 in Hamburg, deported on 25.10.1941 to the Lodz Ghetto, where she died on 1.3.1942.

Schanzenstrasse 119

The former seamstress Jenny Eckstein, daughter of Kallmann Eckstein and his wife Hannchen, née Fleischauer, had remained unmarried and last lived as a pensioner in a first floor apartment at Schanzenstraße 119.

With the first large transport of Hamburg Jews on October 25, 1941, she was deported to the Lodz Ghetto, where she died a few months later, on March 1, 1942.
